Children's Room staff is gearing up for the 2008 Summer Reading Program. This year's theme, Wild Reads, will feature fun programs and wild prizes! Summer Reading Program flyers will be available June 1. Registration and new this year, reading will begin June 17.

A Unique Birthday Present

Would you like to give something different to your child this year for his/her birthday? A gift that would also benefit the GPL children's room collection? Make a book donation to the children's room! Stop by the children's room and take a look at our birthday book selection. From picture books to non-fiction, there is something for each child's interest. How does it work? Just select a book and we will order it through our vendor. GPL staff will create a special donation plate with your child's name. We'll call when it is ready to pick up. Your child will be the first to look at this special book with their name inside. The book remains in the collection for other children to enjoy!
